PokerSplit ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account or sign in with Google, we collect:

Your email address
Your display name (from Google or as entered by you)
A unique user identifier

We do not collect your Google password. We only receive the information Google shares with us based on your Google account permissions.

Game data. When you use PokerSplit, we store:

Game codes, buy-in amounts, and player names
Buy-in counts and final chip amounts
Game results and settlement amounts (linked to your account if signed in)
Player names you save to your player pool

Usage data. We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data including pages visited, session duration, and general location (country/region). This data does not identify you personally.

Feedback. If you submit feedback, we store your rating, message, and optionally your email address.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide, operate, and improve the PokerSplit service
To authenticate you and maintain your account
To display your game history and leaderboard ranking
To save your player pool for quick access during game setup
To respond to feedback you submit
To understand how the app is used (via analytics)

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted PostgreSQL database platform. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth, which follows industry-standard security practices.

4. Third-Party Services

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser localStorage to store:

Your dealer tokens for games you created (so you can resume them)
Preferences such as dismissed banners and survey responses

We use cookies set by Google Analytics for anonymous usage tracking. You can opt out via your browser settings or the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

6. Data Retention

Game data is retained indefinitely to support leaderboard and history features. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Children's Privacy

PokerSplit is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Your Rights

You may request to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your account and associated data
